We will be following new disinfecting guidelines, which include cleaning and sanitizing throughout the facilities and between each appointment. Everything that is touched will be wiped down and disinfected, this includes all devices, tools, products, and all surfaces.
Team Chill will be wearing face masks and in some cases, face shields as well for added protection during service and while in our stores. Team Chill will continue to wash hands before and after each service, as per usual!
Our Team will also have their temperatures checked before their shift with our non-contact digital forehead thermometer.
Please know that Team Chill service providers are required to wear protective gear, but some may be wearing more than others. Some examples of what you will see us sporting upon reopening include gloves, face shields, face masks, anti fog goggles and in some cases perhaps even a surgical gown. What a world huh?
New Hours (Post COVID-19 Reopening)
We have temporarily changed our hours of operation.
Tuesday - Friday 12pm-8pm
We will be limiting our in store occupancy and will have social distance cues throughout our store. We have screen guards throughout our space including our nail area, cafe and reception desk. Upon entering, you will see a touchless hand sanitizing station. We have also moved forward with touchless soap dispensers throughout our space as well.
Plan your chill.
For weekend and peak times, we tend to book up rather quickly. We encourage booking at least two weeks in advance if you have restrictions on time. Feel free to inquire about last minute appointments should you have a more flexible schedule.
If you prefer a male or female therapist for your session, please let us know when you book your appointment. (This also applies if you request a certain service provider for your appointment). To many, this doesn't really matter, but it's entirely up to the individual!
We've gone digital
You will be emailed a digital intake form and a mandatory COVID-19 waiver to be completed prior to your arrival. This is so that your service provider can better prepare for your appointment, and to ensure Social Distancing is taking place in our lobby and front desk area.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
We will be operating on a 12-hour cancellation & rescheduling policy and are enforcing this now more than ever to ensure everyone has a chance to get in for an appointment. If you are within this booking time frame, then you are already confirmed for your appointment and the policy will be in effect. Without this notification, you will be billed 100% for each service. If you cancel your appointment within the 12 hour time frame, you will be billed 50% of each service. If you reschedule your appointment within the 12 hour time frame, you will be billed 20% of each service. A credit card is required at the time of booking. This policy also applies to gift card holders.
We will be screening our clients for COVID19 prior to arrivals. If you are sick, or have been exposed to someone within the last 14 days who has tested positive for COVID19, please let us know in advance so that we can reschedule your appointment. Please reschedule/cancel your appointment prior to our 12-hour cancelation policy to avoid any fees/charges. Please be prepared to have your temperature taken upon arrival for your appointment. If your temperature is 100 or over, you will be asked to cancel your appointment and reschedule and will be billed 20% of the service fee.
You must arrive wearing a mask.
Depending on your service, you may be asked to keep your mask on at all times. If you do not have a mask,, you will be able to purchase an individually wrapped disposable mask. If the mask you have interferes with treatment, we will provide a mask for you at no cost.
Try to arrive on time for your appointment.
This is to make sure that we continue to enforce social distancing within our space. All intake forms and waivers must be filled out prior to your appointment. Please arrive for your appointment alone in an effort to control our store capacity limitations.
Keep your distance!
Social Distancing will be in full effect in our lobby, reception desk and cafe area.
All spa appointments have been designed to allow the appropriate time for the full enjoyment of the service. Your late arrival may limit our ability to offer the fullest experience possible. Please understand that late arrivals will not receive an extension of scheduled services. An un-rushed service will be rendered only for the remainder of the scheduled session. You will be responsible for payment of the full original service booked.
It's your chill time
Please let your service provider know if you'd like to just chill, or if you'd like them to explain things and educate you as they go through your service. Snoozing through certain treatments is totally normal, so don't ever feel bad about how you'd like to spend your time with us. We are here to help you get the most out of your session.
We are a cashless establishment. All major credit cards are of course accepted and can also be used for gratuity. We do not accept personal checks. We do not accept gift cards that are not issued by Chillhouse.
Rates do not include gratuity. 20% or more is both appropriate and appreciated. You are welcome to tip with credit card or Venmo. If you wish to Venmo your service provider, please ask the Chill Host for more information, or if you feel comfortable, discuss with your service provider.
Reboot & Go
Following a treatment, it's always good to drink water or tea to help flush out any toxins. We would love to have you chill out in our space, but in an effort to keep everyone safe and distanced, please feel free to check out the goods at our Cafe and grab something to go!
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Unused products in original packaging may be returned within 14 days for a full refund at the Soho location and on chillhouse.com. However, you may not return items purchased online to in-store locations and vice versa. Please note that Chillhouse does not provide return labels for any online orders - the return label is the expense and responsibility of the customer.
In light of COVID-19, we are exercising heightened health and safety measures and all clothing and merchandise purchases are final sale at this time. Please refer to the size guide on product pages prior to making a purchase, or reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org with any sizing specific questions. We appreciate your understanding!
We have a no refund policy on services completed at our salons. We offer complimentary fixes within 7 days of the service completion pending management approval.
Gift certificates may be redeemed for spa services and spa products, though please keep in mind we have two gift cards; one is strictly for the online shop, and the other can be used towards services at any of our locations. Please be mindful of the two different types of gift certificates before purchasing. Gift certificates are to be treated as cash, as we are unable to replace lost or stolen certificates. All Gift Certificate sales are final and cannot be refunded.
Please advise our staff of any health conditions, allergies, recent surgeries, or injuries that could affect your service when making your reservation. We reserve the right to refuse service if you are sick or have any open wounds on the skin.
You cannot receive any facial treatment if you have a cold sore. At least, not until the scab has fully shed and the skin behind it has fully healed. Whether it's an active or healing cold sore, the movements of facial massage can really exacerbate the lesion, or even cause it to spread to the eye area. Both are a pretty serious risk, which is why Face Therapists practice under these very specific guidelines.
We have a specially designed massage service for expectant mothers. Please note that prenatal massage can only be performed after the first trimester is complete. Facials during pregnancy are safe, however, we ask that you inform our Chill Hosts at the time of booking if you are pregnant regarding the service you book. We always encourage checking in with your physician first!
Please specify therapist gender preference at the time of booking (or any specific therapist for that matter!) If no preference is selected, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to make changes at the time of the appointment. Please speak with the massage therapist directly about style and depth of pressure. Please be sure to let them know of any aches, pains, areas that need attention and areas to avoid. Please be vocal regarding pressure, and if anything makes you feel uncomfortable. They won't know unless you tell them.
Please understand that for the foreseeable future, all clients must wear a face mask during their massage.

Please know that we do not provide hard gel nail services or acrylic nail services. Therefore, we do not provide hard gel removal of any kind. The biggest difference between Hard and Soft Gel nails is porosity and removal. Soft Gel otherwise known as "Soak Off Gels," goes on like Nail Polish and is removed with acetone applied to cotton and soaked off, resulting in minimal if any damage to natural nails. We do not have nail drills or any other nail tools to assist with removing hard gel. Therefore, we reserve the right to turn away any clients with hard gel.
Please be vocal if you do not like a certain color or design, or generally how something looks! It’s always better to let your nail technician know in advance, rather than end up with something that isn’t to your liking. We’re here for you and want you to love your nails!
Please understand that for the foreseeable future, all clients must wear a face mask during their service.
Receiving treatments under 18 years of age
You must be 18 years of age to receive treatments on your own. If you are under 18 years old, you will need signed consent from a parent or legal guardian and they will need to be present in the treatment room during your appointment.
